Flawless components

LED chip quality can be notoriously variable. That’s why we only use robust components from reputable manufacturers like Samsung and Cree. Every component is examined for flaws when it enters the factory. For example, the screws in a High Bay are acid tested to assess the grade of stainless steel used. 

Perfect Calibration

Once LED chips have been arranged on a board, each unit is tested for Colour Rendering Index (CRI), Power Consumption, Voltage, and Colour Temperature. Our electric screwdrivers are torque-calibrated twice daily to ensure consistency across every one of our fittings. 

 Zero Dust

LED lighting must be assembled in clinical conditions. Our expert technicians combine precision engineering with craftsmanship, working inside a specially designed clean room accessible via an air lock. 

Rigorous Testing

Even a pocket of air can create faults during the manufacturing process. Our goal is to prevent a single imperfect product from leaving the factory. Immediately after production, every light is rigorously tested. Lights undergo a combination of long periods of power on, and periods of on/off switching. Underperforming units are identified and removed. 

Built to Last

Lights often need to be hard-wearing. But just being waterproof isn’t enough. We subject our lights to multiple water jets over eight hours, immersion in salt solution, hot and freezing conditions, as well as drops and spins. Only 100% perfect, truly robust and weatherproof products leave the factory.
